La revista Industrializar Argentina apoya e impulsa este proyecto. Se trata de una campaña cuyo objetivo es la recontrucción del sistema ferroviario nacional y estatal para todos y la anulación del proyecto del TREN BALA.

Declaración de principios

La Argentina del siglo 21 no es la que imaginaron nuestros padres y abuelos. Muchos de ellos inmigrantes, trabajadores iletrados, amas de casa, obreros, campesinos, comerciantes, vivieron en un País que permitía soñar un futuro próspero. Ellos pudieron ofrecer a sus hijos una carrera universitaria, con esfuerzo y con sacrificios, pero fue posible. Ya desde las primeras décadas del siglo XX se empezó a forjar una Nación que defendía y desarrollaba sus recursos estratégicos. Los nombres de Mosconi y el petróleo primero, o Savio y el acero más tarde son un ejemplo de aquellos momentos.

HUBO UNA ARGENTINA DE LA PRODUCCIÓN Y EL EMPLEO. EXISTÍA UNA FUERTE PRESENCIA DEL ESTADO JUGANDO UN ROL ACTIVO EN LA ECONOMÍA, EN LA PRODUCCIÓN. PARALELAMENTE SE DESARROLLÓ UNA POLÍTICA SOCIAL DE AVANZADA.

A mediados del siglo XX el Estado promovió el desarrollo de distintas industrias: IKA, F.M. SIAM, IME, Astilleros Río Santiago, SOMISA, ZAPLA, GIOL. Se nacionalizó y promovió el sistema de transporte ferroviario; se desarrollo la línea aérea de bandera (Aerolíneas Argentinas); se expandió la construcción de escuelas y hospitales públicos; se dio gran impulso al desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnología con la creación de institutos como: Balseiro, INTI, INTA, CONEA, Malbrán; se intensificó la explotación de recursos naturales, como el gas y el petróleo ( YPF), el carbón (YCF), el hierro (HIPASAM), la energía eléctrica (Agua y Energía). También se dio un gran desarrollo de las empresas de servicios como Encotel, Entel, Vialidad Nacional, Ferrocarriles Argentinos, Subterráneos, Obras Sanitarias, ELMA, etc.

¡EXISTIÓ UNA ARGENTINA QUE DISEÑABA Y CONSTRUÍA BARCOS, AVIONES, AUTOMÓVILES!

Este proyecto nacional, es cierto fue realizado en un contexto internacional distinto al de hoy. Y tuvo errores, claro. Tampoco resolvió todo lo que había por resolver. Pero fue un gran avance para nuestra Nación y nuestro Pueblo. Luego hubo otras etapas de desarrollo, que debemos analizar, basados en la inversión de capitales del exterior. Nuestra generación tuvo el triste privilegio de asistir durante los últimos 26 años al desmantelamiento y destrucción de aquella Argentina. En un proceso donde el mecanismo de endeudamiento externo jugó un papel fundamental. En los últimos diez años se impuso una política de libre circulación de capitales, libre importación e "integración" a un mundo globalizado, so pretexto de promover la modernización de los servicios y la estructura productiva. Hoy tenemos otro País. Nuestra tierra, nuestros recursos naturales están, en gran medida en manos extranjeras. La industria nacional, que fue un orgullo para todos, está casi extinguida. Nuestra integridad territorial está amenazada. ¡Millones sin trabajo, sin atención médica o sanitaria, el hambre reina en la Argentina!

DESDE NUESTRA POSICIÓN DE PROFESIONALES DE LA INGENIERÍA Y UNIVERSITARIOS EN GENERAL, TENEMOS EL DERECHO Y LA OBLIGACIÓN DE REPENSAR Y PROMOVER UN CAMBIO DE ESTA SITUACIÓN.

El 19 y 20 de Diciembre del 2001 quizás se haya empezado a construir otra Argentina. Las asambleas y multisectoriales se multiplicaron desde entonces. Allí tenemos un lugar como ciudadanos y vecinos. Pero en lo específico a nuestra profesión debemos manifestarnos y encabezar el proceso de reindustrialización de la Argentina. Esta revista será expresión de ello. Convocamos en forma amplia a todos los que acuerden con la idea de dar batalla a la crisis terminal de la Argentina; a los que quieran aportar para un proyecto de industrialización; a quien tenga ideas, propuestas, información que ayude a generar un movimiento de profesionales a favor de la Nación Argentina y de su Pueblo.
